Our Christmas in a nutshell

This year we took a two-week vacation to visit our families in Utah. It was a great trip! I love the Holidays, but they just wouldn't be the same if we weren't home.

We got right to work and went sledding in Logan.
Luke loved it!

Next up, our annual family basketball game.
This year, to avoid a repeat of last year's injuries, we just played lightning. Still fun!
Clark's got mad skills.
I wish I could say this was me, but it's my much more talented sister Sandy.

The Krogh sisters, back together again!

Christmas Eve at my parents' house is always a lot of fun. We have a big dinner, break a couple of pinatas, open some presents, and re-enact the Christmas story.

This year Luke was a Wise Man.
One of these years he will be excited about it.

Clark, the epitome of excitement, was a shepherd.
(About the costume...don't ask....because I don't know!)

Christmas morning I was pleasantly surprised with this little beauty:
woohoo!
Every present I give from now on will be handmade.
Just giving fair warning. (:

Luke got some gifts as well, but he of course was more interested in the packages and paper they came in.
(Luke and cousin Will in their matching PJs)

...if only we could get inside there somehow...

there...NOW it's Christmas!!

Christmas Day we headed down to Delta, where we spent time playing with cousins and having a blast! Luke is definitely not wanting for attention whenever we visit Delta.
His cousins sure love him!

A little over half of Clark's family made it for the big family party.
Here are as many as I could fit in the picture...

We stayed in Delta until New Year's Day, saw a movie, went swimming, did some more sledding, and I even made it until midnight on New Year's Eve, which is more than I can say for last year.

What a great trip!

It was definitely worth the 25+ hours of traveling!
(Luckily, we had a great driver.)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Loved seeing you three! Note to us for next year: no presents, just a box and packing peanuts:)
