A few months ago we finally brought all of our stuff from Vegas that has been in storage for the past couple of years, much of which was given to us or purchased when we first got married and hasn't really been used since. With the prospect of another move coming up soon, we decided to have a garage sale to see if we couldn't pare down our load and make room for BOTH cars to fit in the garage (imagine that!).
We made some money and got rid of most of the big, bulky items.
So, for the most part, the garage sale was a success.
With a few exceptions, of course.
For example, no one seemed interested in our diaper genie, which we discovered after the sale had been sitting in storage for over a year WITH poopy diapers in it! Gross!! It's probably a good thing no one decided to take a closer look at it. That might have been awkward.
I'm going to go ahead and place the blame for that fragrant oversight on Clark. Someone forgot to take out the trash...
And can you believe no one wanted to purchase these babies??
(I think he was secretly glad that no one bought them)
A little-known fact: Clark actually wore these roller blades (or 'fruit boots' to which they have since been lovingly referred) on our first date, the success of which was fortunately based on more than just how awesome he looked in them--otherwise, I'm not so sure we would even be having this conversation right now. (:
Love you, honey!
You wear the rollerblades, they don't wear you.
Not too many 30-year-olds could exhibit that kind of balance and grace.
(OR: please don't be mad at me for posting this picture!)
